ACTION V. LAYING WORKER

Greetings
1. Has anyone out there had to sweep out a hive to counter the nefarious actvities of the dreaded laying worker? If so, any estimates of the percentage of bees cleaned out of the hive that make it back?
2. It would seem that the percentage would be quite low, as if you can get back, you're a forager (correct?) and if you're a forager, you probably wouldn't be hanging around to get caught up in an anti-laying worker sweep, you would be out foraging, right? - admittedly
some
foragers would be "in the wrong place at the wrong time", but one would think the vast majority would not.
3.
Related question
: does anyone know if a colony will tolerate multiple laying workers simultaneously?
Thanks,
R
